Gas Station Clerk Helps Police Nab Armed Robbery Suspect A gas station clerk helped track down a 24-year-old suspect who allegedly committed an armed robbery and made off with cash. Connecticut State Police received a report of an active robbery at approximately 4:20 p.m. on Sunday afternoon at the Patco gas station in Litchfield. Police said that the clerk reported a suspect walked in, passed a note demanding money and displayed a knife. As the suspect exited the building, the clerk was able to provide a description of the vehicle he was fleeing in. That information was subsequently relayed to local police departments.
