Janet Lynn Checca France Of Trumbull, Worked 30 Years At People's Bank, Dies At 53 A Trumbull woman whose career in community banking spanned three decades has died. Janet Lynn France, formerly of Naugatuck, died Wednesday, June 26 in Bridgeport. She was 53. She was a residential and consumer Lending Closing Specialist for People's United Bank with more than 30 years of service.  France was the wife of the late James A. France. She was on Feb. 22, 1966, daughter of Rudolph and Florinda Pauciello Checca of Trumbull. She graduated from Trumbull High School in 1984 and went on to Butler Business School.
