Darien Artist Charged After Violating Protective Order: Police An artist was arrested and charged after violating a protective order in Fairfield County, police said. Darrin Lamorte, age 53, had violated his conditions of release by staying at a home in Darien on Nov. 10, according to the Darien Police Department. He was arrested at on Tuesday, Nov. 14 after officers advised him of the violation.
