Police are investigating after skeletal remains were found in a wooded area in Connecticut. Troopers received a report at about 3 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 19, from an individual who found what they believed to be skeletal remains while walking their dog, according to Connecticut State Police The individual reported that they found the remains in the woods near Campville Hill Road on the Harwinton/Northfield town line in Litchfield County, police said. Three-Alarm Fire Rips Through Former Factory
A massive three-alarm fire that ripped through a former factory in Fairfield County is under investigation. The blaze began Saturday, June 13 at approximately 7:30 p.m. at the old Star Pin Factory building in Shelton at 273 Canal Street East. Man, Woman Hospitalized After Kayak Capsizes On Long Island Sound
A man and woman were hospitalized after a kayak capsized on the Long Island Sound. The incident happened in Fairfield County around noontime on Sunday, April 26. The Stamford Fire Department said it responded to the area of 160 Wallacks Drive for a 9-1-1 report of “someone in a kayak in trouble."
