Swerving Stamford Motorist With Malfunctioning Brakelight Under Influence, Darien Police Say A broken brake light led to a DWI charge for a swerving driver in Fairfield County, who was allegedly behind the wheel with a blood alcohol content more than triple the legal limit, police said. An officer from the Darien Police Department was driving behind a blue Toyota Corolla on Tokeneke Road shortly after 2 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 23, when he stopped him for having a malfunctioning brake light.
