Police Track Down Suspect In Theft Of Rental Car In Fairfield County A Fairfield County woman who stole a rental car in Westport turned herself in to police after allegedly failing to return the vehicle, police said. Officers from the Westport Police Department responded to Avis Rental Cars at approximately 1:45 p.m. on Sept. 5, 2020, where there was a report of a woman who rented a car and never returned.
