Coast Guard Member From Area, 35, Dies In Crane Accident A member of the Coast Guard from the area died in a crane accident in Alaska, according to the U.S. Coast Guard. The fatality occurred Thursday, Jan. 31 following the accident at the Coast Guard buoy yard in Homer, Alaska.
