Easton's Cory Stirling Takes Field For WPI In Presidents Bowl Title Game

EASTON, Conn. -- Cory Stirling of Easton is a member of the Worcester Polytechnic Institute football team that earned a berth to play in Friday's ECAC Division III Presidents Bowl Championship game.

Stirling is an offensive lineman who wears No. 73. A junior, he is 6 foot, 3 inches tall and weighs 295 pounds, according to the WPI Athletics website.

It is the first time in 23 years the WPI football program has earned a postseason bid. The Engineers have been selected to play in the ECAC Presidents Bowl, where they will face Kean (N.J.) on Friday at 8 p.m. at Central Connecticut State University in New Britain.
