The ceremony will be held at 5:45 p.m. on the Trumbull High School athletic field. In the event of dangerous weather, it will be moved inside. Tickets will be collected at the gate, and no one will be admitted without a ticket. Each student has been given eight outdoor tickets and two indoor tickets. No extra tickets will be given out.

Graduates and their guests are asked to dress appropriately for the ceremony. Inappropriate graduates would include shorts, sneakers, jeans, halter tops, beachwear or informal wear. Graduates are also asked not to wear spike-heeled shoes on the Astroturf surface.

Spectators should remains in the stands until all students have graduated. No spectators will be allowed on the field for any reason. No food or drink will be allowed in the stands, and smoking and alcoholic beverages are prohibited on school grounds.

All bags will be inspected prior to entering the venue.

The district recommends that parents and graduates allow extra time to get to the ceremony in order to compensate for the slow flow of traffic. In previous years, graduates and spectators have experienced serious difficulty getting to the ceremony on time due to intense congestion in and around the streets near the high school. An 8-minute drive from Madison Avenue can swell to 40 minutes.

Limited handicapped parking will be available in the spaces along the football field. Those requiring handicapped parking access should plan on arriving early or arranging a drop-off by a family member, as it will be available only until 5:30 p.m.

Those who need handicapped seating are encouraged to bring their own folding chair. One family member will be allowed to sit with the handicapped person, all other family members will be directed to sit in the stands.
