Trumbull High Band Hits Herald Square For Macy's Thanksgiving Parade

TRUMBULL, Conn. — Be sure to turn on the television Thursday morning: The Trumbull High School Golden Eagle Marching Band will be taking part in the 2017 Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.

Fresh from wowing the crowds at the Stamford Downtown Parade Spectacular on Sunday, members of the band staged an impromptu parade at a Monday send-off party at the Westfield Trumbull Mall.

And they appeared on FOX’s “Good Morning New York” on Tuesday.

An estimated 3.5 million crowd the streets of New York for a live glimpse of the storied parade with another 50 million tuned in at home.

The parade, with marching bands, giant balloons, and live musical performances, steps off at 9 a.m. on NBC.
