Called Anonymous Alerts, the app and website allows students or parents to anonymously alert district officials to any suspicious activity, bullying or other issues.
School officials told WTNH that the system also allows students to have a conversation with school officials about the issue. In these dialogues, students can opt to use their names, or can choose to remain anonymous, WTNH reported.
Though the system was just recently introduced, students have already begun using it, and parents seem to support it as well, according to WTNH.
