The committee will review the bill at the upcoming March 16 meeting, Trumbull Times reported.

Bill No. 5450 would permit children with serious complex health issues to use an oil form of marijuana to treat life-threatening conditions, said Trumbull Times.

According to Trumbull Times, area mothers such as Joy O'Meara have testified about how the proposition would change and significantly improve the quality of life for children, such as her son Jamison, 7, who suffers from intractable epilepsy.
