Trumbull Elections Office Sets Hours Ahead Of Primary

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- With the arrival of primary season, the Trumbull Elections Office will be open full-time from 9:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Friday, April 29.

The Democratic and Republican Presidential Preference Primary will be held on Tuesday, April 26.

Only members of the parties may participate in the primary. All polling places are the same as regular elections.

New voters who wish to enroll by mail must have their enrollment forms postmarked by Thursday, April 21. Unaffiliated voter enrollment sent by mail must be received by that date.

In-person enrollment is permitted until noon on Monday, April 25.

The deadline for changing from any party to a major party holding a presidential preference primary was January 26.
