Redding Voters Approve All Items On Referendum, Including School Spending

REDDING, Conn. — Voters in Redding approved all three items on Tuesday's budget referendum, according to the Redding Pilot.

Here are the votes on each part of the Redding budget, according to the Pilot:

  • The $47.6 million annual budget passed, 576 to 310; 
  • The $12.292 million budget for Joel Barlow High School passed, 599-288. Easton voters also approved their town's $10.988 million budget for Region 9; and
  • The $5.45 million for new HVAC systems at John Read Middle School and Redding Elementary School passed 528 to 360.
