First Selectman Tim Herbst unveiled his proposal Thursday night, calling for a budget of $163.4 million, according to the Post.
Herbst said the proposal, in conjunction with factors such as an increased amount of taxable property and reduced spending, would lower Trumbull’s mill rate from 32.87 to 32.77 over the next fiscal year, according to the Post.
