Woman Charged With Shoplifting At Trumbull Target

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull police recently arrested a West Haven woman for larceny after they said she walked out of the Target store at the Westfield Trumbull Mall with more than $1,000 worth of merchandise, according to the Trumbull Times.

Police said Elaini Simmons, 43, was observed by security putting a car seat, bedding supplies and electronics in her cart before entering a fitting room, where she covered much of the merchandise before walking out of the store without paying, said the Trumbull Times.

Simmons had her infant daughter with her at the time of the incident, police said, according to the Trumbull Times. She posted $500 bond and was released, added the Trumbull Times.
