Woman Charged In Trumbull With Possession, Intent To Sell

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull police seized 58 Alprazolam pills from a New Canaan woman on Saturday, May 21 after an officer on Main Street noticed her license plate was obstructed, according to the Trumbull Times.

Lauren Freeland, 22, gave the officer that pulled her over permission to search her vehicle, where police reportedly found 58 Alprazolam pills in individual baggies, the Trumbull Times reported. 

She was charged with possession of a controlled substance, failure to keep prescription drugs in an original container, possession of a controlled substance with intent to sell, drug paraphernalia and improper use of a license plate, said the Trumbull Times. 

Police also found a metal grinder containing marijuana residue, the Trumbull Times reported.
