TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull EMS and the Nichols Fire Department responded to a six-car pile up on Route 8 on Monday evening.

The accident occurred just before 10 p.m. and reportedly involved a deer, the Nichols Fire Department said. 

Crews applied speedy dry where needed and provided scene safety for EMS and police as they worked through the scene.
