Fedor was one of 29 Connecticut officers who received the award during a ceremony in New Haven on Wednesday. The awards were presented by the U.S. Attorney's office to recognize innovative and creative methods developed by local police officers in their daily work to create a meaningful bond with the community.

“I’m proud and honored to have Officer Fedor as a member of our police department, and I commend him on his tremendous accomplishments with community policy. This award is well deserved for his efforts and dedication to the department and the residents of our town,” said Trumbull Police Chief Michael Lombardo.
