They've been growing beards for the past month in an effort to help a fellow officer who is battling cancer, according to the Trumbull Times.

Those beards will disappear this week when the department has a "shave off" event Saturday and a pre-shave-off fundraiser Friday to see how much money they have raised to help veteran officer Michael Borucki, who was diagnosed with non-small cell lung cancer two years ago and has been undergoing radiation and chemotherapy, according to the Trumbull Times.
