Trumbull, Long Hill Firefighters Bring Christmas Joy To Bridgeport Hospital

BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- Local fire department volunteers continued a long-standing Christmas tradition Sunday by delivering Santa Claus and a load of presents to pediatric patients at Bridgeport Hospital, according to firefighters.

Trumbull volunteers were joined by Long Hill firefighters, who brought the big guy in red to the hospital in a decorated fire truck, according to a post on the Trumbull Volunteer Fire Department Facebook page.

While Trumbull firefighters have been performing the charitable deed for years, this was the first time they were joined by Long Hill volunteers, according to the post, which said that the Christmas effort brought joy to all involved.
