Trumbull Fire Crews, EMS Extricate Driver Following Crash

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- A 19-year-old driver had to be extricated from his car Tuesday following a traffic crash on the Merritt Parkway, according to the trumbulltimes.com.

Members of the Trumbull Fire Department, along with other departments, extricated a teen from his car following a wreck Nov. 11 on the Merritt Parkway.

Firefighters from the Long Hill Fire Department, the Nichols Fire Department and Trumbull Volunteer Fire Company No. 1, along with first responders from Trumbull EMS and state police, helped extricate the teen following a single-car collision, reported the trumbulltimes.com.

According to EMS officials, the teen was transported to a local hospital with leg injuries and several lacerations, said the trumbulltimes.com.
