Suspected Car Burglars Sought By Trumbull Police

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- Trumbull police are conducting an investigation into several burglaries of motor vehicles that occurred Jan. 11 at Trumbull Racquet Club and Planet Fitness, according to the Trumbull Times.

Either two or three African American males are being sought by police as the suspected burglars, allegedly seen operating a silver Chevy Captiva around the businesses on Lindeman Drive, police told the Trumbull Times.

Three vehicles were broken into and purses inside them were taken, according to the Trumbull Times.

The stolen purses were found later in an Ansonia dumpster, police told the Trumbull Times.
