Stepney Volunteer Fire Department To Host Lobster Clambake

MONROE, Conn. -- The Stepney Volunteer Fire Department Company in Monroe is hosting its 15th annual Lobster Clambake on Aug. 27 from 3 to 9 p.m.

The event will support the local fire department and offer fresh lobster or steak to those in attendance. Kids meals and take-out options will also be available. In addition there will be fresh steamed clams or clams on half shell, a bake sale, and a 50/50 raffle.

Tickets will be sold in advance or at the door. Call (203) 268-5389 for tickets and take-out. Lobster or steak dinners include fresh corn on the cob, red potatoes, a dinner roll, and a beverage.
