Security stopped Curtis Garnet, of Trumbull, as he was leaving the store March 2 and recovered the razors, at which point Garnet took off and ran toward Main Street, police said.
An officer saw Garnet walking near Park Lane a short time later and approached him, police said. At that point, Garnet tried to throw away a plastic bag of cocaine, but it blew back at him, police said.
Officers recovered the small plastic bag, which contained several smaller bags of what was ultimately identified to be cocaine, police said.
He was arrested and charged with sixth-degree larceny, possession of narcotics and possession of narcotics with intent to sell.
He was released on $10,000 bond and appeared in court March 17.
