TRUMBULL, Conn. — A pesticide truck was destroyed by fire on Wednesday, but Long Hill firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to a nearby home, according to a Facebook post.
A pesticide truck was consumed by flames on Wednesday afternoon, but the Long Hill Volunteer Fire Co. kept the fire from spreading to the home.

The damage to the Trumbull home was limited to just radiant heat and exterior smoke damage, the Facebook post said.
No injuries were reported.
Firefighters from Long Hill Fire Department were assisted by Trumbull Center and Nichols fire departments.
