Police told the Courier that one dog, Jilly, went after the victim dog when it walked into the park. The black Lab mix suffered puncture wounds to the ear and neck and required treatment for its injuries, said the Easton Courier.
Jilly's owner said the dog was up-to-date on its vaccinations, however, they did not provide their name or proof of vaccination before leaving, the story said. The Lab's owner called the Easton Animal Shelter the next day and found out that Jilly is not registered in Easton; so far the owner of the dog has not been found, added the Easton Courier.
