TRUMBULL, Conn. — Firefighters from the Nichols Fire Department responded to the scene of a downed tree on Saturday evening on Old Dike Road in Trumbull that was knocking out power, according to a Facebook post.

Fire crews along with Trumbull police officers blocked off the area and provided a safe zone until the utility company arrived at the scene to make repairs.
