Multiple Vehicle Accident Caused Redding Ridge Road Closure

REDDING, Conn. -- A multi-vehicle accident is the reason Route 58 in Redding Ridge was closed for four hours Monday morning, reported the Redding Pilot.

In the crash, a landscaping truck "clipped" a pickup truck, which then hit a Honda Civic, said the Redding Pilot report.

The truck's driver, Oscar Gutierrez, 30, of Norwalk, did not have a license to drive a commercial vehicle and was charged by police, according to the Redding Pilot.

The pickup's driver was seriously injured and taken to the hospital, said the Redding Pilot.
