The event, scheduled from 7:30-10 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 7, is open to everyone in the community, according to the department.
Attendees are urged to ask questions, raise their concerns, and to take the time to get to know the officers who patrol their community daily, according to the department.
"We're really looking forward to this event and we encourage everyone to attend," said a post about the event on the department's Facebook page.
