MONROE, Conn. -- Two Shelton teenage boys are facing multiple charges in connection to attempted burglaries in Monroe on Friday, Feb. 5, according to the Monroe Courier.
Police responded to reports of a security alarm being triggered on Bart Rd. Another call was made about a suspicious person on Deep Wood Circle. Officers located one of the suspects in the area and took him into custody, the Monroe Courier reported.
Further investigation revealed the involvement of a second suspect, who was later found attempting to sneak into his home in Shelton. Both teens were charged with second-degree burglary, attempted criminal trespass, possession of burglary tools and criminal mischief before being released to their parents, the Monroe Courier said.
