Man Faces Charges After Erratic Driving, Spitting At Police In Monroe

MONROE, Conn. -- A 39-year-old man is facing several charges, including assaulting a police officer, after Monroe police say he drove erratically and yelled from his car on Spring Hill Road early Saturday, according to the Connecticut Post.

Police told the Connecticut Post that Nicholas Micknak refused to take a sobriety test, spit at a police officer and damaged a holding cell door. He's also charged with driving without a license, criminal mischief, failure to maintain driving lane and other related charges, the Connecticut Post reported.
