Michael Hannah, 31, of 105 Warren Ave., was pulled over on a motor vehicle stop by Fairfield police, who learned that the Easton Police Department held an active warrant for his arrest.
The May 7 motorcycle crash on Sport Hill Road was reported by a 911 caller, police said.
Hannah, who was driving the motorcycle, smelled strongly of alcohol, police said.
He had "visible injuries to the left side of his body but claimed to be fine, was extremely belligerent, combative and verbally abusive to everyone at the scene," police said.
When taken by restraint to the hospital, he received medical treatment for his injuries, but continued to be combative and verbally abusive to medical personnel, police said.
Fairfield officer transported Hannah to the Easton Police Department on Sunday.
He was charged with operating under the influence, reckless driving, improper passing with lane on motorcycle, operation of a motorcycle without insurance, operation of a motorcycle without a motorcycle license, second-degree breach of peace and interfering with an officer.
Hannah was released on $5,000 court-set bond. He is due to appear in court on Tuesday, June 6.
