The story began earlier this summer when a man sold his 1985 Mazada to a West Haven man, the story said. The next day, a man showed up and said he was there to pick up the car, but just a short time later, the real buyer came back to get the car and it was gone, the story said.
Police said the buyer told them about a month later he had seen the car for sale on Craig's List, the story said. Monroe police detectives, along with the Waterbury police, met Rolando Feliciano, of Waterbury, who was selling the car and arrested him Tuesday, reported the Connecticut Post.
Feliciano, 37, was charged with second-degree larceny and forgery and issuing a false statement, the story said.
