Michael Conway, 37, was charged with first-degree larceny and was held on a $20,000 bond for a court appearance Monday in Bridgeport.
Police said the business owner went to police in December about tools being stolen from him during a period of several months, Lieutenant Stephen Corrone said. During the investigation police were able to focus on Conway and determined that he had incrementally stolen more than $40,000 in tools, police said.
