He was born in Clifton, New Jersey, and retired from Olympic Glove and Safety Company after over 40 years of service. He was a WWII Army Air Corp veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Eleanor Wasdyke Harvey, of Trumbull; three children, Todd and Susan Harvey of Huntington Long Island, New York, Dean and Cathy Harvey of Easton, and Sue Graafsma of Texas; and 10 grandchildren Eleanor, Merrill, Brandon, Alex, Daniel, Kristen, Amanda, Paul, Caleb and Alyssa.
He was predeceased by his sister, Eleanor Harvey.
Friends and family are invited to attend his funeral services on Saturday at noon at the Cyril F. Mullins Funeral Home, 399 White Plains Road, Trumbull, with the Reverend Dora Janeway Odarenko officiating. Friends may greet the family from 10 a.m. until the time of service. Interment will be private.
