Born in Berlin, Hill had lived in London, Toronto, San Francisco, New York and New Jersey before she and her husband, David Hill, made their home in Trumbull in 1973.
She worked for the GE Foundation for 25 years and retired in 2004.
Hill had been an active member of the First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield since 1974, where she participated in numerous groups and activities and formed many friendships.
Hill is survived by her husband, David; her daughter, Pam Rekow and her husband Corey; her son, Alex Hill and his wife Nicolina Saporito; and grandchildren, Sydney and Lauren.
Calling hours will be held in the Lesko & Polke Funeral Home, 1209 Post Road, in Fairfield on Friday, May 13, from 5 to 9 p.m.
A memorial service at the church will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Fairfield, Mission Committee, 2475 Easton Turnpike, Fairfield, CT 06825.
