Henry Russell, who now works in Japan, pleaded guilty to two counts of negligent homicide with a motor vehicle in Bridgeport court Friday in connection with the deaths of Allen Finkenaur, 91, and his wife, Virginia, also 91, the Post said.

Russell was then served with a $6 million federal wrongful death lawsuit by the Finkenaurs' lawyer, William Bloss, of Koskoff, Koskoff and Bieder, the Post said.

He will be sentenced to two years of conditional discharge, a type of probation, and community service, the Post said.

The crash occurred on the afternoon of Dec. 22, 2015, on White Plains Road near Cedarcrest Road. Allen Finkenaur died Christmas Day, and his wife died 14 days later.
