United Illuminating Plans Power Outage In Easton To Make Upgrades

EASTON, Conn. -- The United Illuminating Co. will have a planned power outage in Easton so they can perform system upgrades on Jan. 14.

The first outage will take place from 9 to 11 a.m. and may impact the following Easton roads: 

  • Ballwall Road
  • Sunny Ridge Road, 
  • Bibbins Road
  • Sweetbriar Trail 
  • Bohus Lane
  • Tatetuck Trail
  • Ceder Hill Road
  • Tranquility Drive
  • Church Road 
  • Trup Drive
  • Deerfield Drive
  • Valley Road 
  • Martin Lane 
  • Vista Drive
  • North Park Avenue
  • Wimbledon Lane
  • Ridgeline Road
  • Wood End Road
  • Rockhouse Road
  • Ledgeway Road
  • Silver Hill Road
  • Poverty Hollow Road
  • Sport Hill Road
  • Rock House Road. 

A second outage from 1 to 3 p.m. may impact the following roads: 

  • Bartling Drive
  • Blanchard Road
  • Ground Pine Lane
  • Newman Drive
  • Palmer Place
  • Princess Pine Lane
  • Senior Drive
  • Sport Hill Road
  • Tersana Drive
  • The Circle Unicorn Lane
