The accident occurred April 26, 2015, on the Merritt Parkway in Stratford as 56-year-old Kevin Holloran was helping to clean up an accident scene, the Post said.

Garcia, who had a blood alcohol content one-and-half times the legal limit, pleaded guilty to driving under the influence and first-degree assault, the Post said.

She told the judge during her sentencing in Bridgeport that she prayed for Holloran every night, hoping a miracle would happen to make him well, added the Connecticut Post.
