TRUMBULL, Conn. -- When Stevie the cat was brought to the Trumbull Animal Shelter, he had infected eyes, one already missing, and was very unweight, according to the trumbulltimes.com.

The Trumbull Animal Shelter is trying to raise money to pay for surgery for Stevie who is missing an eye.

Since being care for at the shelter, Stevie has gained weight and is loved by the staff, the times said. Currently, they are trying to raise money to help cover the cost of the surgery Stevie will need to close up his bad eye, said the trumbulltimes.com.
