Fuchs will ask the state Department of Transportation to change signage at the intersection, which often backs up Route 107 during the morning commute, added the Redding Pilot.
The change would make the sign ineffective from 7 to 9 a.m. every morning for those driving to Georgetown. Drivers heading to Glen would still be required to stop. In addition, the chief will ask to make the exit from Glen Road right-turn-only, said the Redding Pilot.
