Metz pleaded guilty to fourth-degree sexual assault and reckless endangerment, the Connecticut Post reported. He pleaded guilty under the Alford Doctrine, where he does not admit guilty but concedes that he would be found guilty if he went to trial, and then was found guilty by a jury, according to the Connecticut Post.

Under his plea agreement, he will receive probation and will undergo alcohol treatment, the Connecticut Post reported. Though he will not have to register as a sex offender, he will not be allowed to have further contact with the victim, according to the Connecticut Post.
