The deficit prompted the town's Board of Selectmen to schedule a special town meeting for Monday at 7:30 p.m. at Samuel Staples Elementary School, 515 Morehouse Road.

Other topics will be "possible action to change the scope of work for the Wells Hill Bridge Capital Project to the Wells Hill Bridge and South Park Avenue Bridges," reported the Easton Courier.
