Eversource Repairs Power Outages In Redding

Update: All power has been restored in the outages Saturday in Newtown and Redding, according to Eversource.

Eversource is continuing to work to restore power across Connecticut on Friday afternoon. Tens of thousands were left in the dark after a powerful storm early Thursday.

NEWTOWN/REDDING, Conn. — Eversource was reporting power outages Saturday due to downed wires  in Newtown and Redding. 

The number of customers without power as of 12:45 p.m. Saturday were: 

  • Newtown: 13
  • Redding: 139

It was not known when power would be restored, but Eversource said via Twitter that crews were in the area.
