The Town of Redding notified its residents through a post on Facebook.
The company is also working in Ridgefield, Newtown and Bethel, Frank Poirot, Eversource spokesman told the Ridgefield Press.
The helicopters are equipped with cameras that can document the condition of the high-power lines, so that repairs can be made quickly. It takes three years to photograph all 1,600 circuit miles of lines in Connecticut, Poirot said.
