During a recent P&Z meeting with residents, members of the Agricultural Commission and farming supporters turned out to urge the commission to include pro-farming efforts in the plan, saying farming helps bring stability, provides access to local food and improves the town's image, said the Easton Courier.
Many attending the meeting suggested that by creating a cultural identity, including arts and farming, the town could promote itself as a destination, added the Easton Courier.
