Covid-19: New CT Numbers, Including Fatalities, Cases By Towns, Cities

As of late Thursday afternoon, April 9, 9,784 have tested positive.

Of those cases, 4,882 (50 percent) are in Fairfield County. 

Here are the cities with the most cases in Connecticut:

  • Stamford 1,113 cases,
  • Norwalk 671,
  • Danbury 632,
  • New Haven 461,
  • Bridgeport 564,
  • Waterbury 400,
  • Greenwich 288,
  • Hartford, 270

Of the state's 380 COVID-19 deaths, including a newborn baby, 178 happened in Fairfield County (46.8 percent).

A total of 1,464 patients have been hospitalized. 

More than 33,500 have been tested.
