First Selectman Adam Dunsby said police have limited use of their space on the bottom floor of the building, which is where the overflow apparently happened, according to the Courier.

Officers were on duty Tuesday, with some working out of the firehouse and others removing gear from Town Hall, the Courier said. The 911 call center was operating normally, the Easton Courier said.

The cause of the spill, which was discovered Monday night, remains unknown, the Courier said.
