For the past three years, Iananni has been a committed board member and active volunteer on behalf The Center for Family Justice in Bridgeport, which serves as the domestic violence and sexual assault crisis and prevention center for the communities of Trumbull, Fairfield, Bridgeport, Stratford, Monroe and Easton. He also serves on its board governance committee.

“Being chosen for this award by the International Practice Management Association Awards Committee is one of the greatest honors of my career,” Iannini said. “I am both humbled and overwhelmed that the committee chose me over many other qualified and deserving candidates for doing what I love to do.”

Debra A. Greenwood, president/CEO of The Center for Family Justice, said she was pleased to see such a valued board member being recognized for his service. “Anthony is a committed and generous partner and a powerful example of the role men can play in advocating on behalf of victims of domestic and sexual violence,” she said. “We’re so delighted he’s been honored with the recognition he so richly deserves.”

Particular emphasis is given to honoring association members whose work is focused on behalf of the disenfranchised, including the homeless, HIV/AIDs patients, the elderly and domestic violence victims.

Iannini also serves on the board of directors of The Center.

In addition to be honored for his work with The Center, Iannini also was recognized for his generous work on behalf of the Delaware Law Related Education Center and the Widener University Law School’s Legal Institute in Delaware, where he is a board member and adjunct professor.

The award is given to an International Practice Management Association member in recognition of their commitment of their time and pro bono legal services to advance the public good.
